Chettinad School of Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Chettinad School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) and is a part of the Chettinad Academy of Research and Education(CARE), a deemed Category-I University with NAAC A++ Accreditation.

CARE provides a comprehensive pharmaceutical degree that prepares students for a rewarding career in the healthcare industry. Our pharmaceutical program provides students with a solid foundation in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences, as well as practical experiences in a variety of healthcare settings. Admission is open for pharmacy aspirants with scholarship and placement offers.

Pharmaceutical degree programs at Undergraduate and levels open new vistas in the arena of Pharma Sciences through Clinical Legal Studies and Research.
Programs offered
  • B. Pharm - Bachelor of Pharmacy - 4-year degree program.
  • B. Pharm - Bachelor of Pharmacy - 3 years (lateral entry - applicable for Diploma graduates).
Eligibility Criteria for B. Pharm Admission
  • Prospective candidates are required to have cleared the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State/Central Government authorities.
  • This qualification should be recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Essential prerequisites include the inclusion of English as one of the subjects and the selection of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (P.C.M) or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually.
  • Additionally, any alternative qualification sanctioned by the Pharmacy Council of India, deemed equivalent to the mentioned examinations, will be duly considered.
B. Pharm lateral entry admission
  • Successful completion of a D. Pharm course from a Pharmacy Council of India-approved institution under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act is required.
